One thing that I love about this dress is the versatility that it can easily be worn from day to night.
For during the day look, I personally, would wear this with a pair of tan platform sandals like these or these and then at night slip on a pair of heels, mules (like I am about to show you) or platforms (like these).
I snagged this dress during the NSale (Nordstrom Anniversary Sale) and while I love a good sale, I do think paying full price for Top Shop clothing is worth every penny. I've always been happy with the quality and fit of everything I have purchased of theirs.
You don't have to be selfconsious when wearing this wrap dress because it is very secure. There are button closures on both sides of the waist on the inside of the dress as well as the tie detail so you never have to worry about it "opening" up on you.
I am wearing the lace bralette that made it into my August Favorites post. While most of the time your bra will not show, there will be times a little bit might peek through because of the loose nature of this dress. For dresses like this it's nice to wear something pretty and delicate underneath. Wearing it as an accessory, not an undergarment.
I am a sucker for a suede shoe. When mixing textures it is one that will go with anything.
Dress: Comes in black and red. Wearing size 6 US (fits like 2-4). I tried on the size 4 US and it fit as well, but with the buttons it made it a touch more restricting that what I'm comfortable with.
Necklace: Comes in silver and rose gold. You can find it on sale here.
Purse: is old but I found it for a ridiculously good price here.
Shoes: Comes in multiple colors. I'm wearing size 8.5. True to size or if in between I would size down.
