Fun and Thoughtful Valentine's Day Gifts for Him, Her and Kids
Valentine’s Day.
I get it, it’s just another day or as some might say, a “Hallmark holiday”. Nonetheless, there’s still something sweet about it. Life is worth celebrating; Love is worth celebrating and making it special.
For some, I think Valentine’s Day is a good reminder. Not everyone is naturally good at doing thoughtful things for their loved ones and it might mean a lot to their significant other so they need that yearly reminder.
For others, it’s simply fun. A friend once told me “I love Valentine’s Day, it’s one of my favorite holidays. To spoil the loved one in my life and to buy silly things that I normally would never buy. It’s fun.”
And for others, like myself, they see and appreciate the sentimental aspect of the day that was chosen to celebrate the people you love.
Most of all, I want to encourage you to make Valentine’s Day whatever feels good and natural for you.
My husband will sometimes buy me some flowers and I will cook a yummy meal. And of course it’s always fun to do special things for Berkeley. Make cookies, do a scavenger hunt, a few gifts.
If you are a gift giver (or if your usually not and want to surprise them) I have come up with a few ideas for you.
Gifts for him OR her:
5 Senses: “Being With You Makes Perfect Sense” You choose a gift for each of your 5 sense (Touch, Feel, See, Hear, Taste) and wrap it up. It could be anything - have fun with it and choose thing you know that person will love.
Print out photos of the two of you and attach them to balloons filled with helium. You could write on the back of each photo something you loved about the memory.

Gifts for Him:
Put together a bunch of lottery tickets in a cute manor. You can say something along the lines of: “I won the lotto with you” or “I hit jackpot with you”
